The Lecturer (Asst. Prof. Salman Hussein Omran) from the Energy and Renewable Energies Technology Center, University of Technology- Iraq participated online in the patent entitled (Development of an electric elevator based on tanks and weights) in the Seventh International Exhibition for Patents and Industrial Designs. The cooperation was with the Iraqi Cultural Media Center and the Peace Movement in Sulaymaniyah, for the period from October 19-20, 2023. The exhibition was held in the Kurdistan region of Sulaymaniyah - Iraq. The lecturer got the Golden Medal, the Creativity Medal and the Distinguished Shield.

The Energy and Renewable Energies Technology center held a workshop in cooperation with the

Women’s Empowerment Unit affiliated with the Presidency of the University of Technology- Iraq. The

The Assistant Professor Salman Hussein Omran from the Energy and Renewable Energy Research Center got a patent entitled " Development of an electric elevator that adopts tanks and weights " from Central Organization for Standardization and Quality/Ministry of Planning under No. 7955 on 9/4/2023 in cooperation with research team from the University of Technology- Iraq and other universities.
